Our Story

Built in Lagos,
for Lagos people

Every morning, millions of Lagos professionals sit in the same go-slow, going to the same places, completely alone in their cars or squeezing into danfos. Ganusii exists to fix that.

We're not a cab hailing app. We're a corridor-matching network — peer-to-peer, AI-powered, and designed specifically for the daily commuter who just wants to get to work without the wahala.

Ganusii is pre-launch and corridor-first. Before we build the app, we're validating real demand corridor by corridor — so every feature we build solves a real Lagos commute problem.

Questions? We get it.

No — Ganusii is a peer-to-peer carpooling network, not a commercial taxi service. Your driver is a fellow professional who commutes on your route every day and wants to share costs. No random strangers, no surge pricing, no "driver is 12 minutes away."
Every driver is verified before being matched — ID, vehicle details, and employment confirmation. All riders are also screened. You'll know your corridor group before the first ride, and your WhatsApp group gives you full transparency on who's in your carpool.
If you currently spend ₦5,000–₦8,000 daily on solo cab rides, expect to pay ₦1,500–₦2,500 per trip when sharing with 2–3 others. That's ₦50,000–₦100,000 back in your pocket every month. Yes na — it adds up fast.
Not right now. In our pre-launch phase, everything runs through WhatsApp — your existing app. Once your corridor group is matched, you'll be added to a private group to coordinate pickups and payments. Simple as that.
Join the waitlist anyway — tell us your route. We're collecting data to decide which corridor to add next. The more people from a particular route who sign up, the faster we launch it. Your signup directly influences our expansion roadmap.
We launch corridor by corridor as soon as we have enough matched riders and drivers on each route. Joining the waitlist now puts you first in line for your corridor. No commitments, no payment — just your spot in the queue.
Every driver completes a three-step verification before being matched with any rider: a valid Driver's Licence, full vehicle details (make, model, plate number), and one additional government-issued ID. We also confirm their regular commute route before they are added to any corridor group. Unverified drivers are never matched.
Riders complete ID and photo verification before being added to a corridor group. We cross-check their work destination against the corridor route, and all riders are visible to their matched driver before the first trip. No anonymous passengers — everyone in the group knows who they are commuting with.
The corridor group decides together via WhatsApp once matched. Ganusii suggests a logical pickup point based on everyone's home area — usually a nearby junction or landmark — and a departure window based on the timing preferences you provided when signing up. The group confirms and adjusts from there. You are always in control of your schedule.
